Carpet cleaning
- How long does carpet cleaning take?
- Most rooms take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on size and condition. A typical three-bedroom home usually takes around two to three hours in total, including drying time and preparation.
- How long does the carpet take to dry after cleaning?
- Carpets are usually dry within two to four hours. We use powerful extraction equipment that removes the majority of moisture during the clean, so drying times are kept to a minimum. Opening windows and doors and putting the heating on helps speed things up.
- Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
- We ask that you move smaller items such as ornaments, lamps, and lightweight chairs before we arrive. We can help move heavier furniture where possible, though we recommend clearing the area as much as you can to get the best results.
- Can you remove stubborn stains?
- We treat all stains as part of our six-stage cleaning process using professional-grade pre-treatment solutions. Most stains respond very well to treatment. Some older or set-in stains may not be fully removable, but we will always be honest with you about what to expect before we begin.
- Is your cleaning process safe for children and pets?
- Yes. We use cleaning solutions that are safe for children and pets once the carpet is dry. We recommend keeping children and pets off the carpet until it is fully dry, which is usually within a few hours.
- How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
- We recommend a professional clean every 12 to 18 months for most households. Homes with children, pets, or high foot traffic may benefit from cleaning every six to twelve months.
Upholstery cleaning
- What types of upholstery can you clean?
- We clean sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans, and other upholstered furniture. We work with a wide range of fabrics including cotton, linen, microfibre, and velvet. We always check the fabric care label and test a small area before proceeding.
- How long does upholstery cleaning take?
- A standard two-seater sofa takes around 30 to 45 minutes. A three-piece suite typically takes one to two hours. Drying time is usually two to four hours depending on the fabric and ventilation.
- Can you clean leather sofas?
- We do not currently offer leather cleaning as it requires specialist products and techniques. We focus on fabric upholstery to ensure the best possible results for our customers.
Pricing & booking
- How much does carpet cleaning cost?
- Prices depend on the size of the area and the level of soiling. A single room starts from £60. We provide a clear, itemised quote before any work begins so there are no surprises. You can see our price list on our 'services and pricing' page.
- Do you charge extra for stain treatment?
- General stain treatment is included in our standard carpet cleaning service. As part of our pre-spray treatment, we tackle everyday marks and stains to achieve the best possible results. However, some stubborn or specialist stains, such as pet urine, blood, paint or other particularly difficult stains, may require additional treatments and specialist products. These are charged separately, but we'll always discuss any additional costs with you before carrying out the treatment.
- How do I book a clean?
- You can call or text us on 07825 915260, or use the enquiry form on our contact page & Facebook. We will get back to you promptly to confirm a date and time that suits you.
- Do you require a deposit?
- We do not require a deposit for standard bookings. Payment is due on the compleation of the clean, and we accept cash or bank transfer.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept cash and bank transfer. Payment is taken on completion of the clean once you are happy with the results.
Service areas
- Which areas do you cover?
- We are based in Redditch and cover the surrounding areas including Bromsgrove, Studley, Alcester, Henley-in-Arden, Solihull, and parts of Birmingham. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please give us a call and we will be happy to help.
- Do you charge a call-out fee?
- There is no call-out fee for properties within our standard service area around Redditch. For locations further afield, we may apply a small travel charge, which we will always confirm with you before booking.
- Can you clean commercial premises?
- We primarily serve domestic customers, but we do take on small commercial jobs such as offices, rental properties, and holiday lets. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
